Roberto Cabral is innovative, daring, and unconventional in his approach to photographing human beauty.

Born to a Portuguese father and a German mother, Cabral's accomplished career has spanned many crafts from artisan, author, martial art instructor, director to photographer.  He is a 25 year practitioner of Budo, or Martial Way, a master teacher with an impressive background in martial arts, Japanese calligraphy, eastern philosophy, religion and Zen.

A photographer of people, his photos capture an emotion that is unfound elsewhere. He infuses his photography with passion and perfection. He frames his subjects in a light of intrigue, sensitivity and power. Freeing his subjects from the limiting emotions of shame, life, modesty and reality, his subjects' near dreamful aura is an inviting glimpse into their soul.

As a director, Cabral has completed several music videos as well as a documentary on human rights.

Cabral's true passion is his fight for animal rights.  In 2008 he established Bound Angels, a non-profit organization didicated to awareness and education on the plight of shelter animals. His work with animals and his gift for animal behavior has shed much light on the plight of these animals and led to the rescue of countless animals otherwise doomed to be killed in shelters.
